Zinc Plus™

Zinc is an essential mineral that activates more than 70 enzymes in the human body, including those that assist with protein synthesis and tissue repair.† This mineral must be obtained from the diet and is found in a variety of foods, including oysters, red meat and poultry, beans, nuts, certain seafood, whole grains, fortified breakfast cereals, and dairy products. Phytates, a compound found in whole grain breads, cereals, legumes, and other products, can decrease zinc absorption. This formula uses zinc citrate, the form of zinc found in human milk, to support optimal intake and assimilation in the body.

Vitamin B6 and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) are added to this product to support zinc metabolism. These 2 vitamins provide additional benefit as they are essential for optimal health and numerous reactions in the body.† Vitamin B6 is necessary for many aspects of health including protein and amino acid metabolism, red blood cell formation, normal brain function, and synthesis of antibodies important for optimal immune responses.† Vitamin C is an important nutrient and antioxidant that helps protect against cellular damage, stimulates production of collagen important for healthy skin and joints, aids iron absorption, and supports heart and immune system function.† Vitamin C in this product is supplied as pure, crystalline ascorbic acid, free of corn antigen.
Zinc Plus™ is free of the following common allergens: milk/casein, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten, yeast, and soybeans. Contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives
